Save your edited audio file by going to " File" > " Save or File" > " Save As". Preview the changes if needed, once you're satisfied with the preview, click the " Apply" button to apply the noise reduction effect to the selected audio. In the Noise Reduction dialog box, adjust the " Noise Reduction", " Reduced By", " Frequency Smoothing", and " Attack/Decay Time". A dialog box will appear with various settings. Go back to " Effects" > " Noise Reduction/Restoration" and this time choose Noise Reduction (Process). Once you've captured the noise print, press Ctrl + A (Command + A on Mac) to select the entire audio file, or choose the specific section you want to apply the noise reduction to. This action captures a sample of the background noise as a reference for the noise reduction tool. Go to " Effects" > " Noise Reduction/Restoration" > " Capture Noise Print". Remove Noise With Artificial Intelligence Just be aware that this can cut off the ends of words, so to stop that happening, increase the Hold. The best thing about this option is that it’s not actually removing any frequencies from the voice because it is essentially muting out audio that falls below the threshold you set. The final way is to go to Effects > Amplitude and Compression > Dynamics, and tick the box in the AutoGate section as well as turning the Threshold down a bit, and that will clean up your audio, just leaving the voice.
